Photo shot in 2010 at an abandoned tuberculosis sanatorium. Colin Savage explores abandoned and decrepit locations, often very dangerous, to get beautiful and unique shots. This was taken in natural light with very few post production edits to present it in black and white, evoking various emotions from the viewer. The canvas media bestows a special quality and depth for the viewer to enjoy.
Gallery-wrapped canvas with image overflow, this original print is created with archival inks (also known as giclée) in 16"x20" size that is ready-to-hang. We feel image overflow is most attractive as the print 'bends' around the 1.5" (unless otherwise specified) canvas frame. Canvases are treated to prevent fading, but we always suggest indoor light for best wear. Canvas is museum quality, created in the United States.
